Sugar (powdered, non-melting)
When wanting to dust fresh pastries with powdered sugar, if not serving right away, regular powdered sugar will, inevitably, start to melt and become pasty. Non-melting powdered sugar, saves the day! This sugar is specially formulated to not break down, even days after application and even when using on warm, fresh from the oven baked goods. The brand I use (called "Snow White") is not offered on Amazon, so I'm linking directly to the King Arthur website. Store airtight, at room temperature.
