My “every year” Thanksgiving cranberry sauce. Fresh cranberries, cooked in sugar syrup (10-15 minutes at brisk simmer-2:1 ratio, sugar/water), once cooled, add drained crushed pineapple (1 can per 2 (12 oz) bags cooked cranberries), 1 can drained mandarin oranges and 2 ripe diced bananas.
