I know the holidays are soon – I know many of you will be running around like crazy- I know that some of you will be completely exhausted and swear that “next year someone else will be saddled with this.” Sorry, but I know what I know because of many years of doing what I do to help people just like you. I’d like to ask you a question: would you expect to go to the gym and do 100 push ups- and do them correctly- when you haven’t tried to do this in many months- maybe even a year? Would you advocate that someone else do it? Is that sane? So why is it that many of you, especially those with young children, expect to be able to pull off a grand homemade presentation for family and friends, when you’re not at all muscular? Can you realistically expect to do this well AND enjoy it? This photo is of a luscious burger- on a random night- with just a stovetop grill pan, no fancy equipment- but this burger asserts two things: eating food, cooked by me, is important to help have control of what goes into my body and into those I love. Two: The only way to stay muscular, as a cook and baker is to do it (to practice). I get that you’re busy, I get that you’re juggling- I also know you want to be happy, healthy and to feel good about your abilities as a caregiver. Thanksgiving, Christmas- These are only once a year. I hope you’ll go to my site, scroll down and, on the front page, listen to a short audio recording. I want to help you understand how much power you have to make a difference, for all of you
