1 ½ teaspoons allspice 2 1/4 teaspoons salt 3 teaspoons ground ginger 3 teaspoons nutmeg 4 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon three pinches of cloves
Use a whisk to thoroughly combine all the ingredients in an extra-large mixing bowl and sift this into another large bowl. Whisk again thoroughly, then spoon the mix into a canister with a tight-fitting lid. Store the canister on a cool dry pantry shelf.
